Exit 83 on I-85 will bring you into the town of Cowpens for a grand time to be enjoyed. Cowpens has a Veterans Park where most of the hub of events is held. Next to it is the Historic Depot where the USS Cowpens Museum is housed; it will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the event for visitors to enjoy. Carnival rides will be running for families to enjoy three nights.
Anyone attending for the first time not familiar with all the many activities planned for the crew and families is invited to contact me at mizgritssc@yahoo.com to discuss items related to the reunion.
Our community extends wide opened arms and hearts to you all and hopes to have the chance to meet more of the outstanding, courageous, honorable and heroic men and women who have served onboard the two finest ships in the United States Navy. Be prepared to be spoiled rotten and leave our hometown knowing that you’ve found ties with family and friends to last a lifetime.
There’s nothing left for you to do, but come on and join us and the festivities.
We’ll be watching for you!
